Peter Shanks is President and Managing Director of Cunard Line based in Southampton, England. Peter is responsible for Cunard Line on a worldwide basis as well as Princess Cruises in the UK market and reports to David Dingle, CEO Carnival UK.
Peter has been with Carnival UK for 7 years, having joined in 2001 as Senior Vice President for Cunard in Europe. Prior to that Peter was Managing Director of Distribution for the Airtours Group in the UK and spent time as Commercial Director for Thomas Cook.
Cunard Line is now preparing for the introduction of Queen Elizabeth in 2010. Cunard enjoys international support across many markets and in particular from the UK, North America, Germany and Australia.
Peter is also Chairman of the Cruise Section of the PSA in the UK. |
